These are some of the Success Stories for 2003.  See Success Stories 2005, Success Stories 2004, Success Stories 2002 and Success Stories 2001 for our happy GSP placements from previous years.

December 2003

Regis (now Rudy) decided we were taking too long and found his own family...on Christmas Day!  He went with his foster person to visit family for the holidays and snuck out the door when no one was looking.  He went down the street and up onto the porch of the house where his soon to be forever family lived. After finding Rudy's foster person, they were thrilled to find out he was available for adoption. All he wanted was a family of his own for the holidays and he made sure he had one! They said he was the best Christmas present ever!

December 2003

Sam is a senior GSP with a lot of life to live and love to give.  His family knew he was the perfect dog for them the moment they saw him.  He quickly wiggled his way into their hearts and is now a treasured member of the family.  So treasured that he even attended a black tie dinner on Christmas Eve.  He was a perfect gentleman and the hit of the party.  We're sure Sam will have a lot more social engagements on his calendar and continue to charm all who meet him.

December 2003

Jackson is truly a success story.  He had been found hit by a car on the highway with his sister by his side.  He had extensive surgery to repair his badly broken leg.  His family didn't hesitate to take on his medical challenges and nurse him back to health and now he is making an amazing recovery in his new home. His family is amazed at Jackson's sweet nature and gentle soul. He's made as big of an impact on them as they have on him. Jackson now knows what it means to be truly loved...a success story all the way around.

December 2003

Eddie is the prince of the beach in his new home!  He's enjoying life on the coast and all the fun of the sand, water, and hiking trails.  He's even become quite the celebrity on his walks around town.  Eddie's family can't get over what a great GSP he is.  We already knew that, didn't we?

November 2003

Hunter is a perfect addition to his family.  He loves to "hunt" in the yard, play with the girls, and just hang out at home.  For having such a rough first year, he sure feels like he's hit the jackpot now!  We hope he lives happily ever after...

November 2003

Packer's family can't believe what a wonderful companion he is!  He loves to play fetch and frisbee with the kids and loves all the attention.  He also is a welcome addition to the office and is sort of a company mascot.  We love that Packer is loved and appreciated by everyone that has the opportunity to get to know him.  He's one special GSP and we think he knows it!

November 2003

Trooper is adored by his new family and is doing his best to keep them on their toes!  He's loving the "hunting" in his big backyard and has discovered how much fun swimming in the pool is.  He just hasn't realized it's too cold for water sports!

November 2003

What a life!

October 2003

Duncan (now Murphy) is thrilled that he gets to go to work!  Everyone at the office thinks he's one special puppy.  So does his family. They said he has the best temperament and best behavior of any puppy or dog they've ever met!  We knew he was a very special puppy with a lot of potential from the moment we met him.

September 2003

Chico and his GSP brother Cowboy are having the time of their lives!  They're also keeping their family very busy and are a constant source of laughter for all.  Chico is looking forward to giving a try at hunting this year and has already decided he loves to go camping.  We're looking forward to hearing more about his and Cowboy's adventures together.

How's that for special?

His family is hoping to do agility with Chase.  We couldn't have asked for a better home for this great boy!
