Gracie,
after spending four months at a vet hospital undergoing surgery
and rehabilitation, has found her best friend in Troy. She
and Troy live in Las Vegas and he reports that she's shown
great dedication to him despite her long stay in a kennel.
Having experienced all the emotional ups and downs of Gracie's
treatment, we were both sad to see her leave and delighted that
she found her forever home. We couldn't have asked for a
better Christmas present for Gracie. |

Wellington
(now Duke Wellington)
has been adopted and is now loved by an experienced Pointer family
in Mill Valley. Duke has settled in quickly and loves his new
Weimaraner brother. We're sure he had some happy holidays this
year. |

Penny
is in a great home in the Santa
Cruz area. She now has a lot of room to run and play and do
all the things young GSPs love to do! Here she is pictured
with one of her best friends Oliver. |

has found a home for

Augie
is now in a great home in Northern California where he is a much
loved member of his new family. Just in time for the
holidays! |

Angel used
her GSP charms on the UC Davis vet student that spayed her.
The student fell in love with Angel while she was in her care and
just had to have her as her new best friend. |

Abby
is now loved by a wonderful
family in Stockton. She even has a GSP sister that
looks like a carbon copy of her. They love to snuggle on the
couch together and are the best of friends. A great home for
a very well-deserving girl! |

Athena
found the perfect home with her new mom Anne in Southern California.
It was love at first sight and the pair can be seen going everywhere
together. Another happy rescue ending... |

Jake
has gone to his new home in
Eureka, California and has a little Lab brother who is already his best
buddy. His new mom said he settled in like he's always been
there. He loves the king size bed and thinks he has found
doggy heaven sprawled out with his head under the pillows. |

Hershey,
a 3 year old female surrendered by an owner who did not want to pay
her impound fees, found her forever home with a wonderful family
in El Dorado, California. She's now the proud "owner" of
lots of land on which to play.

Danny has
finally found his soul mate and has gone to spend the rest of his
life with his new best friend in Northern California. |

Justine (now Lucy)
has
been adopted by a very nice family in Pleasanton. She has lots
of room to run on several acres and a newly retired companion with
whom to spend the days. |

Pepper
is now a well-loved member of a
great family in Northern California. She has already showed her hunting prowess
and love of sleeping in bed with a 10 year old! The family is
ecstatic to have this sweet girl join their family. |

Mocha,
a 1 year old solid liver male,
has gone to his forever home in Placerville, California. He
has a big yard to run in and an active family with whom Mocha will
have many wonderful new experiences. Here
he is on his first day with his new family (Daniel, Gary, Michele and
Joey the Pug).

Gunner, a
very happy 2 year old male, is now in his
forever home in Folsom, California. He has a younger Weimaraner
sister and a family that truly appreciates how special he is. |

Charlie,
a
2 to 3 year old male Lab mix, was adopted by a San Jose
family who fell in love with him at first sight! Way to go
Charlie!

Joey's
foster mom learned that Joey loves to swim. He could paddle in
the pool all day if she would let him. As luck would have it,
he has gone to a great home in Northern California with a pool in
which he can swim to his heart's content! A match made in
heaven! |

Pasadena
has finally found his forever home after several months in
foster care. He is in Northern California with his new owner who loves him
dearly. Pasadena definitely thinks it was worth the wait! |

Cowboy has
gone to a great home in Northern California where he has several acres on which
to run and a pond to play in with his GSP sister. Another
match made in heaven for a well-deserving rescue. |

Geoffrey (now
Henry), our special needs Pointer, has gained over 10
pounds and is looking great! He has gone to his new home in Emeryville,
California where he has a big back yard, lots of dog toys and a
loving family. Henry (right) is shown here with his
new Mom (Denise), sister (Bailey) and Dad (Jim).

Molly has
been adopted by a family friend in Northern California and is happily settling
into her new home.

Penelope, a
beautiful young female, has gone to an active home in Northern
California where she will be the center of her family's attention. |

For Sam,
the fifth
time is a charm. Patience has paid off and Sam has finally found his
forever home. He is currently learning to hunt and is very
happy to have his very own family to love. |

Lily
is a very special
Pointer girl who has finally found her forever home. She is
now in San Jose where she has a Pointer sister and an active
family to love her. |
 |
Kelly has gone to a great home in Northern
California where she has a GSP sister and two children to keep her
happy. |
 |
Zachary is a 7 year old male GSP that has gone to
his new home in Nevada. He has another GSP friend and lots
of room to run. |
 |
Winston,
one of the largest GSPs we've ever seen, went
to a new home with a Weimaraner and three young boys as his
family. A large fenced yard with lots of terrain to explore
rounds out Winston's perfect forever home.

Spot (now Levi),
an incredibly sweet one year old GSP, flew all the way
across the country to his new home in Virginia.
He has a GSP brother and his new dad takes Levi everywhere.

Theodore (now
Riley), a very senior dog with some special
medical needs, was adopted by a warm and loving family in Southern
California. His affectionate and playful personality has
really won over his new family. They report he loves to play
fetch and they wear out before he
does! He's pictured here at a handoff point on the journey to his
new home (thanks to the Canine Underground Railroad).

romping in the parks nearby with his new
