Lost and Found GSPs

The following GSPs have been lost and their owners are desperately looking for them or found by good samaritans.  If you have any information on any of these dogs, please contact the person listed or GSP Rescue.

Lost Senior GSP - Cold Springs, CA

I lost my German Shorthair New Year's Eve night in Cold Springs, CA, a small community on the Sonora Pass (hwy 108) about 5 miles from Dodge Ridge Ski area and Pinecrest Lake. Heidi is an 11 year old spayed female that we rescued in June 96. She has a liver head, 3/4 cropped white tail and a liver and white ticked body. She requires daily meds for an intestinal disorder. The name plate in her collar says "Bridges, Fremont, 510-656-0827". Please contact Kate or Monroe Bridges at 510-656-0827 if you have any information on Heidi.

Lost GSP - Hayward, CA

Buster ran off on 6/20/02 from South Hayward as a result of fireworks noise. Someone called and reported they had seen him on the evening of 6/21/02 about 5 miles away in downtown Hayward. He may be heading home to Turlock. He is a 5 year old, 40 lb., neutered GSP. He is dark liver with white ticking and has a solid liver head. His tail is docked. As a result of intestinal surgery, he has a special diet and can only eat wet dog food (dry makes him bloat). He is nervous and may not come when called. If you have any info. please call Kristina at (510) 612-8914 or Sue/Fred at (209) 668-0670 (call collect) or you may respond by e-mail at karlinesue@charter.net.
