Are you serious? What on earth were you thinking false balls for the dogs self esteem? I’ve never heard of anything more stupid in my life. Like the dog really cares. It was your vanity that caused him to be having this trouble now not his self esteem..
Icing usually helps with swelling. Good luck putting ice on your dogs sore balls..maybe he will bite you..

Take him back, have the vet take them out, and change vets. Or change vets first, and THEN have the surgery done. Actually, do the second. I have yet to have a male have “self esteem” issues from having been neutered. That is total psycho garbage. Self esteem issues are secluded only to humans.

um, yeah. That vet needs his head examined. As do you for having falsies put in. Ri-freaking-diculous.

Oh, and because of your stupidity, your dog can be having a reaction the these falsies, which could explain the excessive swelling.

File a complaint against this vet and take your dog immediately to another vet. It is probably an infection. My dog had this exact same problem and ended up dying from the infection. GO GO GO do not wait any longer!!!!

Some people have WAY more money than sense.

Neuticles are the biggest waste of money in the world. They aren’t for HIS self esteem, they’re for YOURS.

Get your dog to a different vet and get them taken out. After the new vet stops laughing, of course.

Dog balls…the pup’s self esteem? Ha! The damn things are plastic and the animal gets no benefit from having them in his scrotum. The vet sold you a bill of goods so he could profit from your ignorance. And if it was your idea to have them implanted he should have tried to dissuade you. Dogs (especially pups) have no inkling of what happened in the vet’s office except he fell asleep and has some discomfort down by his penis. But he does feel less aggressive and now the mutt across the street doesn’t seem to be so much of a threat to him. Go to him and have the dog treated for the inflammation and swelling, if you still trust him.
Good luck
J

Call the Vet that did the implants & ask him.

I have heard about this thing happening and dogs getting infections. See another vet.
You are so stupid to worry about your dog self esteem

My dog had the same issue. Do not do anything to them. The swelling will go down. As long as he is not licking them to further irritate them things will be fine. Your dog will walk with pride again after things heal up. I had to take my dog to counseling because he was starting to hump dogs in the face. We have corrected that behavior and everything is normal again. No more worries about being called up and being accused that my dog impregnated another dog in the neighborhood. I had the falsies put in by a vet in Santa Monica. He did a great job.
